Dinan: Major historical attractions include the Jacobins Theatre dating from 1224, the flamboyant Gothic St Malo's Church, the Romanesque St Saviour's Basilica, Duchess Anne's Tower and the Château de Dinan. Dinan old town is still surrounded by almost 2,600 meters of medieval ramparts.
The cobbled streets lined with halftimbered houses date back to the 15th and 16th centuries and will transport you to the glory of bygone days. The shops are still used by craftsmen who, whilst you watch, create in wood, cloth, clay, stone or glass, works of art in keeping with the beauty and essential humanity of the surroundings.
Not to be missed is the panoramic view over the port and the valley of the Rance from Le Jardin Anglais with its imposing cedars and chestnuts, where one also finds the Saint Sauveur Church dating back to the 12th century.
Combourg: The Château de Combourg stands on a small hill next to Lac Tranquille. The original castle on the site was built around 1025 by Archbishop Guinguené, who gave it to his illegitimate brother Riwallon. The castle, privately owned, consists of four large, powerful buildings enclosing a rectangular courtyard. In each corner of this massive fortress is a round tower.

St. Malo: Besides offering the Grand Aquarium, St Malo itself deserves a visit. Still surrounded by the defence wall and ramparts it offers its visitors quality shopping and restaurants in its medieval setting. The beach is worth a visit where many a yacht and sailboat can be seen passing.
Cancale: Famous for its oysters
Rennes: A town which has lived through 2000 years of history. Its past is marked by a period during which it was a fortified town with ducal homes, then as the seat of the Parliament of Brittany since 1562. The medieval streets bordered by wooden houses are complemented by the elegant solemnity of the 18th century and its two royal squares (the Place du parlement and the Place de l'hôtel de ville).
